My company is an ImpactWeather client. How do I go about obtaining access to my company's weather information?
Contact your immediate supervisor and/or your company's primary contact for ImpactWeather. If you don't know who at your company to contact, email Client Services.

Do you provide any "free" publicly available weather information or weather support services?
We do not. Our services are not intended for use for by individuals or the general public.

How are ImpactWeather's services different than what is typically available on the Internet or from other weather companies?
ImpactWeather is in the business of helping organizations more effectively fulfill their safety and security, operational and risk management missions by serving as their 24x7 weather department. Utilizing our own proprietary systems and our own sources for raw weather data, our meteorologists and business & operational continuity specialists provide custom-configured forecasting, monitoring and alerting services for each client.

What does ImpactWeather mean when it says it serves as "Your Weather Department"?
It is a mindset shared by us and our clients. ImpactWeather functions almost as though we were your own employees. A team of meteorologists learns your organization's specific requirements, and we provide you with the information that you need to keep you informed. We communicate with you on an ongoing basis to ensure that you are never surprised by the weather and that you have full situational awareness at all times with regards to your locations, assets, and business operations anywhere on the planet.

Who are ImpactWeather's clients?
We have a diverse client base consisting of hundreds of organizations. Our clients include many leading companies that together represent the entire private sector. What are the fees for ImpactWeather's weather support services?
Fees vary from client to client. However, at no cost to you, an Industry Manager will work with you to design a customized weather department service configuration that best meets your organization's requirements and budget considerations. Should you decide to proceed with our services, fees would be based on the specifics of your organization's service configuration.

What are the fees for ImpactReady's business continuity consulting services?
For the most part, consulting fees are determined on a time and materials basis.

Which regions of the world does ImpactWeather support?
ImpactWeather provides weather support services for clients worldwide - both onshore and offshore.

Does ImpactWeather provide weather support for weather-sensitive projects, testimony, on-site consultations, etc.,?
Yes. We frequently deploy project-specific meteorologists in support of special projects that range from a few days to as long as many months. Special projects include construction projects, large vessel sail-outs and other types of weather-sensitive onshore and offshore projects.

How long does it take to set up services?
We can typically begin providing service within a few days of our receipt of a signed ImpactWeather service agreement which will include a description of your service configuration and the associated fees.

How long has ImpactWeather been in business?
ImpactWeather was formed as a division of Universal Weather and Aviation in 1995. In 2004, ImpactWeather became incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Universal was founded in 1959.

What are ImpactWeather's hours?
Our Meteorological Operations and our ImpactReady divisions operate 24/7/365. Administrative departments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time Monday through Friday.
